Part

this is where our story ends.

I will be walking down the aisle,

with hands on my sides and my chin held high.

i look at the path in front of me, with your love letter in my right hand.

i smiled as i saw you standing there on the crossroads where we agreed to meet.

i held my breath and let out a sigh.

finally, i am here in front of you again.

my heart is contented and happy just like it always felt when im with you.

I smiled and feel my heart stop.

you saw my hand holding the letter you gave,

and you smiled at me back.

we just stood there without a word,

your eyes were always happy and sparkling when we are in our own world.

but my heart is slowly breaking, anytime now.

choking up with the words i wanted to say,

please stay, i love you, dont go away.

lets turn back the time and start anew,

i am ready to fight for what i feel now.

please know that i have and always will love you.

yesterday, now, tomorrow, even after months and years,

i will always completely, truly love you with all my heart and soul.

the clock ticked and the time is up.

i looked down on the ground as you gave me your one last hug.

because this is the end of our story.

our what ifs will never come true.

at the point of the crossroad where we met the first time,

and this is where we will part,

never to fulfill our happy ever after,

forever will be stuck and lost in time,

and this is where our story will end,

our book is now complete without a happily ever after,

this is where we will part.
